Forrest Griffin Vs Anderson Silva Fixed? UFC 101 Post Fight Reactions

I can’t believe so many people have so little common sense that they would believe this is a rigged fight. What good would rigging a fight in Anderson’s favor when he moves up to light heavyweight be when it’s easily the most talent filled division already? What kind of sense financially would it make to throw Forrest-one of the most popular fighters in history- under the bus? And if the fight would have to be rigged for Anderson to win, why would Dana white be so excited about him abandoning his middleweight title to stay at light heavyweight? Nobody but Forrest knows for sure why he gave up. (Watch the fight again, he wasn’t knocked out) I think it was because he was getting embarrassed by Silva. It’s unfortunate but understandable.

However. Im very skeptical about this fight. There was something very strange about it. Tho i have to say if it was a fix then Silva was not in on the fix.

Just read DAGATH post a couple posts up, and i agree with he coulda broke his will because if you watch the fight its the 5th or 6th punch is the first silva actually threw and the 1st one that landed drop griffin, if u watch the keith jardine fight when he knocked him out he he did the same basic thing with his arms, then his legs i personally think he was stunned if not out

It’s not necessarilly how hard a punch is (although if you watch Anderson’s short jab at regular speed you see what a hard and fast punch it was) it’s how much it pushes your jaw laterally. This pushes the jaw bone up into the nerve center that causes the knockout. Guys don’t get knocked out from begin punched in the nose it’s a strike sideways across the jaw that does it.
