Hello Guys, I just want to share this to all of you. DFA is requiring an Appointment Schedule for their New and Renewal passport applicants. I went to DFA earlier and found out that their Consular Office (the division that handles passport services) transferred to ASEANA Business Park near SM Mall Of Asia in Paranaque. Along with the transfer comes a new passport application system. They no longer cater walk-in applicants, you need an appointment before they process your application.

I don't know to you people but I think this is GREAT, really GREAT! It will lessen the crowd going to the DFA, It will lessen the risk of being fooled by fixers and it will also lessen the chance of applicants going back and forth at the DFA because of problems regarding their application like lack of requirements. Applicants should first have all of their requirements ready before DFA gives them an appointment schedule.

Galing talaga nitong bagong service from DFA. Eto pa, for those who didn't know about the transfer and change of system, like me, who went to DFA today; DFA employees are there, ready with mobile phones, for applicants who want to have an appointment schedule onsite. O diba, who would think that a government agency can be warm and big-hearted like this. Other government agency should follow suit.

I'm telling you guys, if you don't have a passport yet or planning to renew you old one, mag-apply na kayo! This upgrade/change in their system is really the best thing ever that happened to a government agency.

Just call DFA Passport Appointment System (02) 737-1000 or log-on to http://www.epassport.com.ph to get your appointment schedule now.

Two thumbs up to DFA! Peace out!

Hi! Good morning thanks for this info. I already have passport I’m planning to go to DFA today to get a request certified copy of my passport because this is one of the major requirements that I’m applying for to be able to grant a sponsored family visit visa in Australia. Do you have any idea that DFA is possible to issued a certified copy of passport? TIA.
