Mapiles.com team has joined the bird counting held in Candaba swamp today, January 4, 2012. Friends from Philippine Star, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Net 25, ABS-CBN, CLTV 36 and others have covered the said event. According to Kaakbay, a group of bird enthusiasts, more than 12,000 birds were seen in Candaba which is about 4,000 higher than in 2011. We will be posting pictures later so you can see the beauty of migratory birds in Candaba, Pampanga. Thanks to local government of Candaba led by Mayor Jerry Pelayo for hosting the said counting.
