INBOUND Call Center Associate- Health Insurance

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Process inbound calls to effectively meet customer needs within established productivity goals and turnaround times
• Follow established guidelines in providing customers accurate information using various system tools.
• Meet the service, quality and quantity standards set by the BU and  the Management
• Update client information on the system as required
• Escalate issues to Management to ensure customer expectations are met when standard procedures are inadequate in meeting specific needs
• Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, responsiveness and creativity to ensure customer satisfaction – CCAs would be responding to health insurance inquiries
• Network throughout the organization to engage supporting units in delivering solutions

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 4-year business related course graduate.
• Must have good comprehension skills; able to absorb, analyze and apply medical and mathematical concepts with the use of the computer and various system tools (medical background not necessary)
• Fluent / Proficient in spoken and written English; can express ideas clearly and concisely
• Must be detail-oriented even when under time-constraints
• Must be analytical with problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented yet able to work independently.
• Must be able to adhere to strict standards of privacy and confidentiality.
• Upholds professionalism, respect and integrity as vital factors in adding value to company’s financial strength
• Must have excellent Keyboarding Skills, speed and accuracy
• Must have knowledge of windows-based software.
• Previous financial services experience within an office environment would be helpful
• Previous Call Centre experience is an asset
