National Football League (NFL) Monday Night Football on November 2, 2009 will feature the unbeaten New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons. You can watch live this Week 8 NFL match at Superdome or at ESPN at 8:30PM.

For the Saints, week 7 has been a test of character as Drew Brees and the rest of the New Orleans Saints came back strong from a 21-point deficit against Miami to beat the opponent with the score of 46-34 last Sunday.

High;y energized Brees, who threw for 298 yards said that, “There was no doubt on our sideline we would come back and win. They had given us their best shot, and we had played about as bad as we could play. All we had to do was string together a few drives and gain the momentum back. We knew it was going to happen, and it did.”

Although it was his worst game of the season, with three interceptions, a lost fumble and five sacks, Brees led the touchdown drives of 82, 79 and 60 yards on successive possessions in the second half to bring his team on top.

On the other hand, the Falcons suffered a sorry loss against the Dallas Cowboys, 37-21. Matt Ryan had a miserable game, had gone 142 passes without a sack and had gone down only twice all season before Dallas got him on consecutive plays in the first quarter. “It’s frustrating because we feel we can play better,” Ryan said.
