Team Powerade Pilipinas and emerging Asian basketball power Jordan clash today, in a match that is expected to be an all out war for the final four berth of the Fiba Asia 2009 at Tianjin, China.

This is a make or break situation so expect both camps to come up strong right from the start.

Coach Yeng Guiao believes that they are the underdog considering how powerful Jordan is. However, the combatant Filipino coach is still optimistic that they can make an upset. “They’re so strong but don’t discount an upset.” he said.

“Most probably, we would just let Wright to do his thing while trying to do our best to stop the others. He’s so good, we’ll just hope he gets tired. He’s unstoppable going to the right. When forced to go to the left, he’s good at pulling up,” Guiao added.

On the other hand, knowing the potential of Team Philippines, Jordan naturalized superstar Rasheim Wright never feels complacent saying “They have improved a lot since then, specially here playing nip-and-tuck basketball. I expect war tomorrow (today), and may the best team win.”
