RP Team vs Sri Lanka in FIBA Asia 2009 Opener

The RP-Team Powerade Pilipinas will go up against Sri Lanka in the opener of FIBA Asia 2009, on August 6, 9am at Tianjin, China.
“We’re giving it our all. This is for the country. All that talk about being burned out because of the long PBA season doesn’t mean a thing. We’re not making that an excuse. We’re going out to compete,” said Gabe Norwood.
The RP Team vs Sri Lanka game will be aired live at 9 a.m. with simulcast on CS/9 and BTV.
On the following day, the Philippine Team will clash with Japan and on August 9, they take on the South Koreans.
