UNDERWRITERS- Life & Health Insurance

JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Summarize medical records by extracting significant medical information from medical records retrieved from an applicant’s physician.  This includes chronic illnesses, symptoms, test results, cognitive and functional status and build.

* Document utilizing the standardized word template. 

* Entries should be brief and concise. 

* Summary must be organized in chronological order

* This function ensures that the underwriter makes an appropriate medical determination. 

* Maintain and adhere to privacy and confidentiality regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be graduates of at least  4-year medical allied course with license.
• Must have at least 6 months experience as an Underwriter from a medical and life insurancecompany.
• Must have superior knowledge and ability to interpret diagnostic tests to include lab findings, pathology reports, abnormal EKGs/ cardiac diagnostic studies etc as they relate to medical impairments
• Must have ability to understand the impact of co-morbidity on the overall health of an individual.
• Must be knowledgeable with MS Office applications.
• Must be willing to work on a shifting schedule in Quezon City area.
